Stop being a Bully
If you are a bully you may not realize it but you are really affecting the victim's life. You may cause the victim of your bullying to go into depression or commit suicide and you would not want to be responsible for that. Bullying someone is real and it is not funny. It does not make anyone look cool, especially the bully, it just makes you look like a mean jerk. So why would you bully someone if it's not cool and make you look like a jerk? So please do not bully. It makes the victim feel bad and you look bad, so why waste your time? Also please remember you can't control other people but you can control yorself.
Why do Bullies Bully people?
Sometimes when bullies bully people it can be from abuse at home or someone used to bully them and they're trying to get back at them. Some bullies have an urge to control or physically attack someone. Most of the time though a bully does it to make themselves feel better about themselves and to make other kids think they're cool or they just want attention.

You can begin today by stopping your aggressive actions and hurtful words. There are some steps below to stop being a bully that might be helpful. Please understand that not all of these steps are necessary for all people, It depends on how much you bully others and how often.
Step 1
Know what bullying is. If you're involved in one of these behaviors, you are a bully.
If you tease, mimic, name call, or insult someone than you are a verbal bully.
If you hit, kick, push, shove, pinch, or physically hurt someone in any other way, you are a physical bully.
If you try to make someone feel ashamed of themselves or make them lose power and confidence, then this is called emotional bullying. Emotional bullying may include backstabbing, gossiping, isolating, and leaving people out.
Step 2
Identify your insecurities. Many people bully others because they are insecure and it makes them feel better with more power. Consider the following questions.
Do you bully people to hide your weaknesses? Do you put someone down as a way to hide your own weakness? This is a common reason to bully.
Do you bully to show off to others? Do you want people to think you are cool. Perhaps you just want people to think you have power.
Do you tease someone else about something you dislike about yourself? Bullying someone else who shares an unwanted trait is very common.
Are you hurting other people because you are unhappy with your life? Some people act against others when they feel powerless to change something about their own life.
Step 3
Identify bullying patterns in your life.
Do you hurt others because others hurt you? Sometimes people bully others because they learned how to do it from someone else. Think about other people in your life deal with their own insecurities and sense of powelessness.
If you are being bullied at home, get help from a school counselor, a therapist, or someone you trust immediately.
Step 4
Reflect on how it feels to bully others.
What goes through your mind when you are bullying and hurting someone else? What events usually occur leading up to the bullying? If you understand the patterns that happen when you lash/freak out, you might start to have a chance of stopping your negative behavior.
Step 5
Take a moment to think.
If you are bullying other people because you have a temper problem, try thinking before you act. For example, if someone says something that makes you mad, just pause, take a deep breath, and then think before you speak.
Realize that with every action you make, you have a decision to behave in a certain way. Your words and behaviors are in your control and your responsiblity.
Step 6
Remove yourself from a group of people who reward you when you are bullying others.
If you hurt others to gain status in a group, that group mot likely has a negative influence on you. You might not want to be hurting others, but you might feel like you have to so you stay in your group/clique. You should try to remove yourself from this group/clique. It may be hard but it's probably the best thing and will help you to cease your behavior.
If the group/clique threatens you and tris to get you to bully someone, tell somebody you trust that you need help to handle the situation.
Step 7
Practice empathizing with others.
Maybe you are mean to others because you are not thinking about things from their view. You should ask yourself how you would feel if someone is doing this to you.
Spend time with people and get to know them on a deeper and more understanding level.
Try to understand that everyone is eqaul and that no one is better than another, you are not better than your peers, and they are not better than you.
Try to Appreciate and understand that aesh person is unique in their own way, instead of judging there diffrences.

Get professional help if needed.
Is your bullying out of, control are you trying to stop but you just can not, if so it isprobaly time to get professional help. You should try to talk and get help from either a counselor or a therapist afbout the problem you may have. They will help you change your behavior.

Apologize and make amends with the victims.
When you have gained control of your bully issues, you still have a long way to go before gaining back people's trust. Start by saying you are sorry to those you have hurt.
